Shook! Shanghai
Its uniquely designed open-kitchen conveys the feel of 'dining without borders' – intimate, nothing hidden, open to all.

That goes for the menu as well. With whispers of Chinese, Japanese, South-East Asian and modern Western, yet flexible enough to transport you anywhere your heart and palate desire.

Finally, our wine cellar is truly global. And for special mention: our collections of two rare vertical Bordeaux – Chateau Cheval Blanc and Chateau d'Yquem, with vintages going back to 1945.
The Bund, Shanghai
Shanghai, is China's largest city. A century ago, it enjoyed unrivalled status as the cultural and economic centre of East Asia and it had contrasting reputations both for its grandeur and its decadence. Its cityscape is dramatically bisected by the Huangpu River.

Old Shanghai evoked an exotic mix of glamour, mystery and modernity. As a result of the so-called Foreign Concessions – parts of the city occupied and administered by the British, the Americans, the French and the Japanese – Shanghai had a unique blend of cultures, values and architecture. The name Shanghai has always conjured images of the distinctive four- to six storey colonial buildings which were built in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. They make up an enduring landmark called The Bund.
The Swatch Art Peace Hotel
In its long history, the Peace Hotel welcomed a number of illustrious guests and hosted some notable events including the First International Opium Conference in 1909. Political leader Sun Yat-Sun gave an important address there after becoming the provisional president of the Republic of China. Chiang Kai-Shek and his fiancée Soong Mei Ling (of the storied Soong Sisters) celebrated their engagement at the Peace Hotel.

Today, under the leadership and creative guidance of the Swatch Group, The Swatch Art Peace Hotel blends a retail environment with a hotel where artists live and work. All contained in this historical landmark.
